Have a license to sell cigarettes!

Cigarette stores will have to encounter raised overview at the start of 2016. An additional legislation will call for any store selling cigarettes to individuals in Illinois to have a license.

The new-found legislation would mean cigarette retailers could deal with stronger penalties if they sell cigarettes to those under 18 or illegal cigarettes without stamps. The rule demands all sellers to have a license starting with January 1.

The license rates at $75 and requires to be upgraded every year. Supporters for the legislation say sellers will be less probably to sell to children because they could deal with the loss of their license. The bill has been in the making for over ten years. Promoters of the bill law their next objective is to boost the smoking age from 18 to 21-years-old. They intend to present a bill the coming year.
